My April TBR~

Happy Sunday everyone!

Today I am going to be going through my "To Be Read" haul for April!!!

I am so very excited about this month because... you guessed it! I'm going to have so much more time to read!!!!

So, instead of trying to cram in as many books in a month feeling like this:

It's going to feel like this:

(I wish I looked that majestic when I read on cliffs)

Some of these books I mentioned in my 2020 book haul, but after my 2020 haul, I thought that it would make it easier on myself to list out books month by month rather than by the year. Especially because I came into 2020 having a lot of unfinished on my radar (I have the habit of reading too many at one time!) and didn't mention... well, most of them actually. This way, I read more books and it makes easing into a whole new month easier. ;)

Without further ado,

ZE BOOKS!

1. The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien

I started this one a while ago and so far, I am only in chapter 7, and it is so good! What I have noticed about it though, is that it is a story good for reading, but really a story meant to be told. So, I have been listening to the audiobook on YouTube and the reader is phenomenal! Can't wait to finish this in April!!!

2. Little Women by Louisa May Alcott

For my English class, my teacher changed her lesson plans and has allowed us to pick our own book to read and I choose this one. I only just finished chapter 3 and I am already hooked! Already, I really connect with the characters. I sure know what it is like to be raised in a home with 3 older sisters, low income, and a working dad. XD This book is such a wonderful reminder that money is eternal of little worth and that contentment is available to all who seek it. I'm lovin' it!

3. The Penderwicks in Spring by Jeanne Birdsall

As you have probably guessed, April is a month to finish out a lot of books I've already started. Indeed, I started this book a little while ago but I admit that I got distracted by other books! I've heard that the ending of this series is not the best so I think that put a little damper on things. Nevertheless, I still love this series- these books are such pleasurable reads.

4. To Pixar and Beyond by Lawrence Levy

Ok, fan facts with Piper time...

My dream is to be a screenwriter for Disney.

So, to help me prepare and get better acquainted with these companies, I am reading this riveting book.

Is it one I've already started? Yes, yes it is. XD (But, hey, what is quarantine for???)

5. Get Started in Filmmaking by Tom Holden

HAH! A book I haven't started or read already! (But my sister has so I know it's good... ;D) - side note: does having a keyboard smiley face with parentheses around it make your person look like they have a double chin to you?... That always makes me laugh-

Here we are ready for more filmmaking books!!! YAY! Onto cinematic waters, we charge!

~That wraps it up for me~
