Listen to the Shire Music and think of Sam telling Frodo, "Remember the Shire, Mr. Frodo?" on the side of the volcano.
Ya know, this moment (if I had an arrow pointing down, I'd put it here):
Now, that will get those tears going.
Seriously, though, I was listening to this Shire music loop on YouTube and I started thinking of that moment in my head, and I said Sam's lines aloud and I literally started crying, and I knew I had to share it with you guys. This is now one of my favorite (and one of the easiest) methods.
So, if you can, listen backstage to dramatic Hobbit music and imagine Sam being the amazing, loyal, beautiful man he is comforting his literally dying friend. That should work...
